There has been this dude into the Charlottetown store a few times now, working on a deal to trade in some old comics. Every time he is in, he tells me this story about this african statue that he acquired 30 years ago. Today he brought the statue in to meet me. Story goes that the original owner was carving a regular nice statue, and got the feeling like this particular one needed to be made, as opposed to her usual hunter-dude style ones. Midway through the creation of this statue, the original owner found out that her father had died. That necklace that you see the statue wearing was his, and she has sternly warned that it must never be removed from the statue's neck.
