I just finished the third volume of The Complete Peanuts and am almost halfway through the Schulz biography. I'm mostly rereading my old runs of X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Journey.

Finally caught up on my Jack of Fables reading. I was about 2 arcs behind, so it was a good time to catch up I believe. The introduction of Americana was very cool, and I'm loving how they're dealing with the creation of the fables! It's nice to see that they're focusing on the history of the world without touching on almost anything that is happening in the other Fables book.
Jack may be a pompus ass, but he's a great character, and I'm loving the Babe the Blue Ox's little side "story", heheh!

My two major buying projects are No Man's Land and Dennis O'neil's Question.
After that I'll probably give Echo a shot.

All great reads! I'm planning to catch up on Scalped tonight. I'm a few arcs behind and there's enough out that it should be a good read Read the last two issues of Batman & The Outsiders last night. Still not sold on the book, but I'm holding on cause it's Batman.

DC/Wildstorm: Dreamwar (DC/WS) #1-6 Interesting little mini series. Keith Giffen brings all your favorite DC heroes into the WS universe, and seemingly makes them out to be the villains. With a turnaround near the halfway point, and the reveal of a brand new extremely powerful villain, all is not what it seems when you start it. It's also a good story for anyone who isn't familiar with either universe (I'm guessing more people don't know the WSU than the DCU though) as it's pretty all encompassing, without needing a ton of prior knowledge on all the characters. Fun little mini series with a solid pace and good art. 7.5/10 Dead Space (Image) #1-6 Either a prequel, or set in the same universe as, this series is based off the upcoming video game for, I believe, ps3 and xbox360, and is written by Antony Johnston (check out his Wasteland series, amazing post-apocalyptic fun) and drawn/painted by the supremely talented Ben Templesmith (of 30 Days of Night fame, also check out his new horror series Welcome To Hoxford). It's a sci-fi horror set on a planet that is being setup as a major mining site, where an artifact that is either proof of alien life, or the proof that believers in Unitology need that their religion is a sound one. As the story progresses, we discover that there's a virus going through the base that is mutating the recently deceased, and everything goes to shit! A gruesome but well told horror story with amazing art as always by Templesmith! 8.5/10 Terry Moore's Echo Typical of Terry Moore, Echo tells a "slice of life" story of a young women whose life is slowly spiraling downwards and "climaxes" when she witnesses an explosion over a lake where she's taking pictures. Stuck with a mysterious plate that is bonded over her chest, the first arc has her trying to figure out what that thing is, as she's trying to sort of her life with her estranged husband who is forcing a divorce on her and her sister who is institutionalized after losing her family in an accident. She slowly realizes that she's in me trouble than she ever imagined as things start getting dangerous when the army comes after her, and she discovers that the plate is giving her some sort of power. The end of the first arc finds her on the run with a anti-establishment motorcycle gang and the boyfriend of the ex-bearer of the plate she has on. Trying to avoid giving too many details, but it's totally worth reading. An action/adventure/thriller/drama, this has the real-to-life writing that you've come to expect from Terry Moore, as well as his beautiful art, in black and white as always. 8.5/10

Invincible Iron Man #6 was great! Nice way to wrap up the art. I like this title but the art is kind of crappy. Fraction's writing keeps me buying.
