What is Phoenix?
A long, long time ago in a place close to you was a group of gamers that put on a great convention every year on the UNB campus. It was the largest in the Atlantic Provinces and brought together gamers from all over to have lots of fun. We hope to have it once again rise from the ashes.
Phoenix is sponsored by POGOB (Players of Games on Boards) If you like playing board games then this is the place for you. Check them out on Facebook or send out an email at pogob.unb@gmail.com
When is it?
Officially 11:00am until 11:00pm Saturday and Sunday October 25-26, 2008
We plan to set up at 10am and have our gaming actually underway by 11am. We are hoping that we can have a good group of players from Moncton, Saint John Woodstock and even as far away as Halifax to join us. Hopefully this should give them plenty of time to arrive. We can also play a bit later if we want until the building closes around 1am if need be and there is interest. There are also plans to do some gaming Friday night
especially for judges of Weekend in the Realms who wish to play the events before they run them but nothing official as of yet.
Where is it?
University New Brunswick Student Union Building, 21 Pacey Drive Fredericton NB

Our “command centre” will be located in the coffeeteria in the UNB SUB, bottom floor in the back corner, so come there first. We have booked 6 additional rooms throughout the campus for many different events to take place in so we have lots of room.
Games include D&D 4th, Living Forgotten Realms campaign, board games, D&D minis, Magic: the Gathering, Maple Story, Dungeon Delve and anything else people choose to host.
For more info you can email Perry Sharpe at perrysharpe@hotmail.com or call him at 506-455-7825.

I hope to take a van load from Moncton on Friday and return Sunday. If you're in the area do drop by, people are always looking for players in their campaigns.
