Ok, so I'm generally quite simple, easily content with shiny dice and numerous amounts of D&D mini's [No, I don't actually PLAY the mini's game, I just like to have millions of options when it comes to playing D & D ]Now me and my simple brain decided to take on a challenge, :Learning to play magic. So, being somewhat cute, [and manipulative of course] I now have massive amount of cards given to me from a friend. I'm pretty sure many of them are quite old/useless. I now have 3 decks, blue [ by far my favorite], green [ haven't really played with it very much], and red [ very small deck] with the ability to make a plains deck if I want. Ok, so I've solved the cards problem, but now there's another problem: Boyfriend [ also just learned to play, though lives at MTA, has swamp deck] isn't around to play with, and super crazy awesome players are no fun. Something with losing in 2 rounds isn't the best way to learn to play.. Essentially I'm looking for a bit of a mentor/tutor/someone to play with if that isn't too too much to ask ^_^ Thanks -NoxP.S. [preferably in the same city as me; Moncton]

I have an assortment of crap myself and comfortable with the rules so if you want to win some games I may have some time. Let me know when is best for you. I work 9-5 and playing Mon and Tue.

Remi, the boss here at the Moncton store plays a bit of casual magic and he knows the rules well. Give a call or drop him a line on the board here, I'm sure he'd be glad to break in a new player.

Hey sounds good to me ^_^ So long as I'm not going to be a Complete pain in the rear. [I'm sure with Josh & I combined he'll end up shooting one of us] How should I go about asking? Do I just show up or what should I do? :/
