if you knew the cutting edge technologic behind woodman's Pentium 7 (balsa and spruce edition) it would blow your mind!
and the aerodynamics used in the leaf sheild blaster gun thingy are quite revolutionary. i mean it creates a perfect wind funnel that causes those leaves to just twirl around him... it's crazy! this isn't the woodman of my youth. this is Woodman v.2.awesome.

Welcome to The Comic Hunter official message board. Hopefully you'll take advantage of this to talk about comics, magic, D&D and anything else you can find at our store... and maybe even tell us what you'd like to find at either location. Oh, I have a suggestion or two -- but they're totally selfish and not really that useful to Canada at large. Heh. I am just amused to see forums.

Nope, we should give him an account and make him post. He is at the store enough for sure.

yeah. i have an old beater computer someone gave me a while ago that's just sitting here collecting dust (something about computers needing a "working hard drive" and "operating system"). if i could get a cheap HDD and like windows not-so-sucky edition i could hook him up at my place.
problem would be getting him to leave... i could just make him pay rent, and i am looking for a roomie...

No, see if Thud will let him use the computer at the back of the store. You only need to be on the forum for a bit each day.

oh... 40 gigs for 20 bucks... ;D . since you normally get 1gb for a 1$, i'm coming out ahead! i'm guessing it's already formatted and waiting for a new home?
my living room is kinda bare right now and it would be nice to have a "family" computer that people can borrow to just surf the net and play starcraft on the lan with... i'm pretty sure i can find a version of win 2000 or even 98 to install on it easily enough. yeah, bring it in on saturday and i'm 99.999% sure i'll have the money for it. barring that an alien wipes out my bank account, of course

I don't know if it's formatted already, but I'm hoping you know how to do that easily enough right?
I could probably do it, but I hate pulling that damn computer out, so if you know what you're doing enough, it would probably be just as easy for you to format it when you put it in the computer, hehehehe
It works fine... I just upgraded to something much much bigger :-P

i sure hope i know how to format a HDD... i wouldn't want to believe i spent the last 3 years not paying attention in class, AFTER i got my diploma ... since you're not sure if it's formatted, it's probly not a clean HDD and still has an OS on it. what operating system is currently on it? depending on that i might not even want to format and just try to make due and reinstall a few drivers. it takes some time re-installing windows and it can sometimes be quite the bit... er pain! yes, quite the pain! me, use bad words? nevar! i'm guessing windows XP or 2000, but i'm going with my gut (XP). i'm not sure if 'ol betsy can handle XP though. the casing is yellower then ma pah's false teeth. i would boot it up and check the bios for some extra information, but dangit, i'm just lazy enought to not do that!

I don't think thre's an OS on it... I believe it was more of storage drive.
I could be wrong, but seems to me I;m sitll using the same OS installation I have been for the last year.
So there might be nothing on it... jus tnot formatted properly.
