was it any good? I love the Cthulhuian mythos and this seems like it might be fun. I see WotC stopped making it, and was wondering if it was either a bad game, or a game noone wanted I played a lot of MtG back in the early 90s, some Jyhad too, but I couldnt get my head around netrunner Is Hecatomb similar to those? www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=ht

We had a ton of packs that never sold... I think I shipped them back to PEI... not sure what Jeff did with 'em.

hmmm the game is different, but cool, I think LOTS of abilities to process and the cards are hard to pick up if you just cut your nails I bought some decks and boosters and went to a pals house, we opened a deck and a booster each, then split up the colours, he had black/blue and I had green/red first game was a bit stagnant as we were reluctant to use our creatures, but in the second game we went all out and the game was quite fun. I can see why it ddnt take off though, expensive, some weird mechanics, and rated 15+

I actually got in to it initially when it first started up. We had a short lived league on the island. It wasn't too bad a game, the main problem is that it launched between minis sets so when the next minis set came out everyone forgot about the game.
Also: shuffling the cards was a god-damned pain in the ass.

I agree on the shuffling, they could have used square cards and got the same effect IMO
the timing for the release was also bad like you said.
Oh well at least the game is cheap and not collectible anymore, so we can get a full set

Over this was a really good game. Yes the time ralease was it biggest down fall. Worldwide it had some huge support. I know in London Eng, it was hard to keep on the shelf.
I would love to play this again..... I might need some help to put a good deck togather. I have lots of packs from 2 or 3 sets of unopened boosters. I would love to try a draft or trade these.

well if anyone wants to try a draft I think I have like 25 unopened packs and decks along with 1200 misc cards all we would need is people to show up and play

I found a few un opened packs as well. I think a sealed draft would be a best.
